Enhanced virtualization
Windows Server 2008 R2 has the much-anticipated update to Microsoft® Hyper-VTM virtualization technology. Live migration, Hyper-V support for up to 64 logical processors, and Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) provide more simplified systems management and more scalable virtualization scenarios.
